My coaching experience with Claire has allowed me to leverage small steps of personal progress into large ones. She knows what questions to ask, when to be quiet, when to let me process things, how to encourage without guiding and how to get me to commit to action without telling me what to do. I went into my first session with an open mind and no pre-conceived ideas of benefits or expected outcomes and was amazed how quickly Claire organised my jumbled thoughts into goals and set tasks to achieve those goals. I was one of those 'disbelievers' who felt that I had been on the planet and survived long enough without a 'life coach' so why did I need one now and then along came Claire Hall and changed my perspective on life. I guess I thought that a life coach would turn your life around (and not in a good way either). Claire did make me see my life from a whole new perspective but I guess what I appreciate most about my coaching experience with her is that she turned my own life picture around (like turning a framed photo around) and gave me the opportunity to look at it from another angle. It is something that I know that I would not have been able to do on my own because as they say "Perspective is reality" and hence the perspective I had of my life was the reality that I was living with.
